15/365: The Globes!

OK true confession time, I am an award show junkie!!  I look forward to the Golden Globes and the Oscars every year.  I used to try to watch all the nominated movies before the show, to be informed and up on my research, but now I just enjoy watching clueless!  I don't always catch the actual air time and date ahead of time, but this year I heard about tonight's Golden Globes show with enough notice to set the anticipation into motion.  The best thing about it that I don't have to work tomorrow!  So I have had time to prepare: I have showered and have my gown is freshly washed and ready: it is last year's Land's End, the V-neck sleep shirt in navy!  The jewelry: earrings from Kaufman's back in 2002, so they are vintage! Hair: damp and in Sofia's hair scrunchy! And the shoes, Easy Spirit slippers now, my cloud slippers and matching robe for the after party (see blog post #13)!  Accessories: my blue robe from Target, make-up Burt's Bees lip balm, and entourage: the piles of laundry needed to be folded around me! I am also accompanied by my fashion adviser and publicist, Sof (she is very elegant in her vintage hand-me-down from the Judds)!Currently I am preparing by watching the pre-show on E! I am just glued to Kelly Osbourne and Julianna Ransic's breakdown of fashion hits and misses from award shows past, it is fabulous!!  Guilty pleasure Sunday night entertainment, here I come!  I also look forward to the arrival of my People magazine at the end of the week with the breakdown of the whole show.  Yes, I am that girl!
