Yesterday was a very blue day. The sky was blue blue blue, and I was feeling and have been feeling rather blue, blue blue. As I was driving home yesterday afternoon (from the pharmacy, it was a sick day for Sof and me), I couldn't help but notice the clear blue sky and sunshine. I really wished I could have enjoyed it more, but it was COLD and there was medicine to be given. Sofia and I have been sick, are sick, and it is yucky. I know this is supposed to be a joyful place to visit, but if you are a regular you may have noticed some gaps in my "daily" writing. We aren't so sick that we have to go to the hospital or lay in bed all the time, it is just coughing and feeling sluggish and depressed sick. It could be the weather that is slowing me down, or just the bus parked on my chest. But I keep picturing my snow covered yard green again and I know we have a ways to go. It is getting warmer this week, yesterday's crystal blue and white day is melting into the uggs of late February and March, lots of gray, brown, and slush. So my intention here is to write it out, get the yucky winter feeling out there in the open, where other people can relate and hopefully inspire me to get back to blogging, because I really do enjoy it. The last 2 weeks or so have been quite tough on me I think. So, here's to blue skies, the hopes of green grass and that venting out negative feelings in a happy place won't damage it, but will be the balance I need to get back on track. And hopes that the anti-biotic kicks in and kicks out the bus! I am very thankful for doctors and modern medicine!

That's it! Get rid of winter! Take down the snowman decor and put up spring! Remember! The groundhog did not see his shadow so spring is coming!
