32/365: Under my feet

So today we got our snow day!!  Yippee!  Out of the millions of things I thought about doing today, I really accomplished very little, relatively speaking.  I did catch up on my morning TV shows, coffee drinking and couch sitting, very important activities!  And I did catch up with the computer and with a little toy playing.  However, my biggest accomplishment of the day was vacuuming and mopping my downstairs.

 There, I've said it, that is what I did with my snow day-- kind of lame, kind of shocking, kind of  boring old lady stuff--but that's how I roll.  But I have to say having clean floors does make me happy, especially when it means that toys had to be picked up so they didn't get sucked in by my new powerful Dyson!  Also mopping involved ridding the kitchen of dirty dishes, unwanted school papers and mail. So I head to bed with no hopes of a snow day tomorrow, and a clean floor underneath me!  If I had another day, I might drag that vacuum upstairs or even out into the playroom, and see how exciting my life would be then! (Oh, I also watered the plants, hung my Valentine Garden flags, and made lunch and dinner--it was not a wasted day, right?!) :)  Watch out world!
