40/365: Magazine monday: Better Homes and Gardens!

This is a day late, but I still have to post a Magazine in honor of  Mag Mon! Better Homes and Gardens is a magazine that I subscribed to in my 20s and then let lapse after a year, I was really frustrated with the way the articles were broken up and the ads took over the article photos, I am happy to report that they (and many other magazines) got over that! No more "turn to page 208 for the rest of this riveting article that you will not  remember by the time you get to page 208!" 

I still don't subscribe to it!  But my mom did and would pass them on to me, then I would read them while we were chatting in her living room or I would take an issue home and talk to her about it weeks later after I finally got to it.  I still enjoy reading the magazine, even though I'd rather have her here to talk to about it.  I also still look for it when I go over to Dad's house. I  even become a little nuts when I think I've missed an issue!  I have convinced him to resubscribe, only so I can come over and get it from time to time.  (He's so great for doing that!) 

Isn't this a cute idea for V-day? 

I really love the articles on kitchens and gardens, the crafts are good too!  They also recommend some great products like lotions, etc.  Very satisfying.
