61/365: Blogging equals wandering escapism...

I stared checking out blogs just this school year and I have spent a looonng time checking out teacher blogs, they are fabulous and awesome and it amazes me how these teachers have the time to do so many cute things and still have time to blog about it and to be great moms and wives...I have now stumbled upon a different genre of blogs, the homemaker-organizer blogs, even more of a "what the...?"  I spend a lot of time trying not to feel unworthy, but whoa, there are some wonder women out there!  I think my new fave are the bloggers that have been posted pictures of their houses and design and crafty ideas, I can relate without feeling too crazy!!! It definitely eats up a little too much of my free time, but tonight I have thoroughly enjoyed escaping into a bowl full of lemons and the parade of homes, and lisa leonard designs and her dreamy jewelry! The most intriguing thing about these blogs is that they are  winding, wandering paths to unknown kindred spirits full of inspiration and the stuff daydreams are made of!

This is a picture of my dresser-top.  The mirror and picture remind me of dreamy places... The snap shot is of my mom holding me as a baby, she gave it to me as a baby shower gift when Sofia was born, I often let my mind wander as look at that picture each day... I wonder how she felt as a new mom...love her xox
