57/365 sewn owl and heart

Spring Break is upon me and I am feeling the need to get all bloggy again and crafty too!!  Every now and again, the spirit moves me and I sew something!  One of my more regular choices of things to sew are small felt things.  I was recently inspired to sew an owl for a friend who has confessed to really liking birds!  I had seen the directions to making a paper owl valentine and I decided to sew it instead!  It turned out to be a pocket for tiny treasures, or in this case, a rock!  I also made a heart, because it was the season!  And of course a heart is a perfect choice anytime!

Here's to hoping the spirit moves me again!!
