I just had a great weekend, the perfect balance of cleaning, shopping, crafting, visiting with girlfriends and doing larger projects (like cleaning the garage). I am feeling a bit better about it being Sunday night this week than others, since I usually feel an anxious sort of dread on a Sunday night. I think the change in the weather has helped my mood. I spent the whole afternoon puttering around outside, whisking away the last of the winter blahs. I am even excited that it is going to rain all night and day tomorrow, it will wash away that winter haze of salt and minuscule gravel that is every where! I am enjoying NOT seeing huge mounds of snow along the roads and driveways, the village and neighborhoods look cleaner to me. So I am hanging onto the optimistic hope that we are done with accumulating snow for the season!
Here are some pictures of the craft portion of the weekend:
I had my girls over for lunch and we painted these lovelys with the promise of more get-togethers to use them! I especially love being able to incorporate our joke about numbers on the glasses! Thanks, I needed a weekend like this!
