51/365: DWTS

So much for magazine Monday, I am psyched that Dancing with the Stars is back!!  I love this show!!  TV has been so dead lately and I am thankful for this 1st day of the work-week-pick-me-up!  I DVR it and am a facebook fan of the show.  It is funny to me that ballroom dancing has actually pulled in viewers.  The re-done versions of some of those oldy songs used to crack me up--really they are waltzing to this??!!---but now I sing along! The costumes, the spray tans, BRUNO! I love it all! It will take me a few weeks to become totally obsessed with it this season, but looking forward to it will get me through many a slow Monday afternoon. And i probably won't get serious about voting until the semi-finals. It makes me happy in a cheesy-fun way!  I also enjoy hopping on fb to see what my buds are saying about it!  Too funny! The bittersweet part is that it was one of my mom's faves and I probably never would've watched it except that she talked about it so much!  She and I used to break it down after.  We watched it together a lot too, after a yummy dinner at her house.  I was never allowed to call during that time--unless something incredible happened--Marie Osmond fainting, for example!   It is definitely too early to pick a winner, but you know I'll be watching!
